Greetings from the beautiful coast of North Carolina! One of the aspects about God that I love so much is his ability to put his people in exactly the right place, even when the timing or the location doesn't seem so clear to us. For the past five years I have been serving as both teaching pastor and connections pastor at Generations Church in Southport, North Carolina, and we have experienced hundreds in growth as well as seen amazing examples of how Jesus changes lives. In the next month, my family will be moving up the road to Wilmington, North Carolina to see what God has in store for us next. Exciting times!
I would ask that my Southeastern alumni family would ask for God's clear counsel and direction for where he wishes to use me most on this next phase of our journey. For those who are current or future Southeastern students, my challenge to you is simple - "Trust the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your path." (Proverbs 3:5-6)
